Thanks to all who came along to the St James, Acton Trussell churchyard tidy-up on Saturday armed with their brushes, spades, wheelbarrows and secateurs. We were small in numbers this time but what a great job we did (both outside in the churchyard and also inside the church) and we enjoyed a good chat and

Ride and Stride Thanks

Ride and Stride- it was a lovely day on Saturday morning for Ride and Stride but got rather rainy later on! Well done to all the cyclists who got involved, especially our loyal local supporters. Both St James and All Saints welcomed the Ride and Striders and some visitors and offered much needed refreshments- thanks

Building work on the church still continues, but that hasn’t stopped our bakers! Come and see what’s available today on the Cart, it’s situated at the main entrance to All Saints church.

All Saints Service 14th Sept

Dear All, A Morning Prayer Service is to be held at All Saints Church, Bednall on Sunday 14th. September, starting at 9.30. Phil Clayton will be presiding, with Roger Howarth preaching. Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.

Bednall Recycling Weekend 6th/7th September
Our recycling is in addition to the council approved items which you put in your blue bin or bags. The items that you can recycle the first weekend of each month are: Green Bednall are looking into the additional items people would like to recycle locally including Tetra Pak cartons, which the council do not
