Big thanks from St James
A big thanks to all the many people from the congregation and community who came on Saturday to help with the St James’ Church Yard Tidy Up and got involved in Ride and Stride and provided plants to help raise funds for the church- it was a truly great day!

Friends of Bednall Quiz – Defib – CPR update
The Friends of Bednall Quiz, on Saturday 21st October, will be raising funds towards replacing the defibrillator by the Phone Box which is no longer working. On the Bednall cart today
Today we have date and walnut, shortbread and chocolate & pear cake. There is also a balance bike, two scooters and a pumpkin! The usual books, and gifts are also available.

Sunday Service at St James
The Sunday Service on 10th September will be held at St James’ Church, Acton Trussell at 9.30am. It will be a Morning Prayer service and Roger Howarth will be preaching. Everyone is welcome

Ride & Stride – 9th September
Don’t forget Ride & Stride this Saturday, 9th September, get involved and help your local churches – both St James, Acton Trussell and All Saints, Bednall will be open that day.
