Bednall Continues to mark the Platinum Jubilee / Churchyard Clear up
This week saw the churchyard clear up at All Saints church, and the planting of our Our Carpinus Betulus Hornbeam Platinum Jubilee tree. Why not join the churchyard clear up, each month, first Wednesday of the month.

Dear All, There is a church yard tidy up on Wednesday 6th July from 10 until 12. A wedding will be taking place later on at 1.30 so it would be lovely to make everything look lovely. If you are unable to help during that time please pull up some weeds at a time to

St James, Sunday Service on 3rd July
The Sunday Service on 3rd July will be a joint Morning Prayer Service at St James’ Church, Acton Trussell at 9.30am. Roger Howarth will be leading the service and everyone is welcome.

Messy Superheroes on 9th July – POSTPONED
The Messy Superheroes will not be going ahead as planned on Saturday 9th July. Instead there will be a Messy Church session with Superheroes theme at the BATTH Fun Day BBQ on the 27th August at the Community Centre.

Tree planted at St. James’ Church for Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
We planted a Rowan Tree in the St James’ Churchyard to mark the occasion of the Queen’s Jubilee- the photo (taken in the rain!) shows Church Warden, Rev Delphine, Councillor Len Bates (with spade) and some of the congregation. Let’s hope the tree flourishes for many years to come. Eleanor Sims
