An amazing number of people visit St James’ Churchyard in Acton Trussell. Some are passing through, some are regular visitors and others come for a particular reason- recently a couple revisited the church and churchyard 37 years after they got married there.

In the porch at present are displayed items which may be of interest to visitors, for example information about particular graves (see examples below).
