The Churchyard Award Scheme 2022 starts today, 1st May, and St James’ Church has entered.Judges will visit the churchyard during the months of May, June, July and August to check up on our efforts to maintain and enhance our beautiful churchyard as a peaceful place of reflection and remembrance where nature and biodiversity can thrive.Visitors are welcome as are volunteers from the community to help keep the churchyard and surrounds tidy (phone 01785716265 to volunteer). The St James’ Churchyard was awarded a Silver Certificate last year so we have a lot to aim for this year!
