Good evening to you all

My name is Wendy I live with my husband Mark in Brook Cottage.

In August this year we adopted a rescue dog.  His name is Ken, he is 4 years old, had never been walked or socialised. Ken was kept outside all his life and beaten. Ken has a broken tail

Because of Ken’s early life he is very reactive

You may have seen us walk down to the village. I have my high viz on and Ken has a sign on his lead saying reactive.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind words and giving Ken space. I would like to thank the cars that slow down as they pass us.

Above all I appreciate all your understanding and support with Ken as he is getting a little better and now knows not to be scared of people, although Ken is still scared of other dogs.

We go past teds house and Ken looks for ted in the window and I hope one day Ken won’t be so reactive when he sees Ken.

I apologise for those Ken has barked at or any we have woken up at 6:30 in a morning when we go past and Ken barks.

All I can say is Ken has his forever home now and he is work in progress.
