Acton Trussell, Bednall and Teddesley Hay Parish Council, in cooperation with the Parish Community Centre Trust
We are planning weekly sessions run with a small group of IT competent volunteers, DBS checked, following on from the coffee mornings in the Parish Community Centre, Thursdays, starting at 1200 Hrs. It will be led by the volunteer residents, supported by specialists.
We have been offered support from:
- Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Digital Skills Lead and from their Staying Well Team
- The South Staffs Council Digital Adaption Enabler
The Community Centre has good internet connections, it is warm and there will be tea and coffee available.
We expect to be able to support you with:
- Your own IT problems with your own equipment, lap top, tablet or smart phone
- Accessing the internet for the first time; no need for your own equipment
- Staying safe in the digital world
- Using the NHS digital app and using related services
- Accessing services and support from South Staffs Council and others
- Accessing lower cost gas, electricity and ‘phone via internet
- If necessary, sourcing for you free IT equipment and even free internet connections if you need such support
