The Made With Love Craft Group was launched in May with the following aims

Discovering new crafts by taking part in a different craft each month
Learning together and
Sharing skills
in a supportive, relaxed environment.

The group met for the first time in June where members made a Macrame key ring, a craft that was a first for most of the group.

New group members Wendy and Pat said

“A really lovely group to be involved with, have a chuckle, help each other out and learn new techniques. Good fun”.

“A perfect introduction for anyone who would like to get involved with crafting. The Macrame session was very enjoyable, we made a key ring, something that we can use. And the company was really good”.

In July the group’s focus turned to the art of decoupage – originating in France in the 17th century as a means of decorating pieces of furniture. A slate heart was transformed with the use of printed papers and other decorations into a beautiful, uniquely designed piece of home decor.
