Another incredible food bank run  has taken place. We delivered 601.95kg of food. It consisted of 1,120 tins of meat, fruit, jam,rice pudding, Christmas puddings, mince pies, juice and custard. Besides these items, we also delivered over 300 tins received from the Harvest giving from both churches along with items left in the red box and on my doorstep. Thanks go to Roger, Val, Alison and Judith for transporting this mammoth load. But none of this would take place without your kind donations. Since we started to support the Food Bank in 2020 we’ve raised £12,052.81. Unbelievable!

Sadly the need continues and it will get worse in the new year with the fuel and food costs rising. I hope we can do another run in February but it’s all down to your kindness. Thank you Grete
