All those who oppose the planned developments on Acton Hill we need the maximum input from you to South Staffs Council (SSDC) before 31 May.
Developments: our Planning Expert advises that when the SSDC Plan is subject to the Inspector’s Enquiry, Gladmans will press for the 81 houses to be increased to the original 151/200+; IF we fail in our objection the increased number will likely be approved.
Our objective is to build a very strong case for the Inspector to REJECT the 81 house plan (and any other) on Acton Hill.
Residents have said, as we know, the forms are complicated. Our Expert advises residents can add their names, addresses and e-mail addresses to Parish lists (your contact details will not be released to SSDC or the public, we will retain only as proof of your support in case the Inspector asks for this.
On Wednesday evening 8.00 pm there will be the Annual Parish Assembly (all are welcome/encouraged) and Thursday 10.30 to 12.30 is the coffee, cakes and warm welcome to all. At both of these will be forms for you to complete and sign supporting a brief summary of what will become the Parish Council objection.
PLEASE come to the Parish Community Centre at either of these times and sign up to add your voice to the objections.
Those of you already filling in the forms, please continue and submit before noon 31May.
