Dear All- we are about to enter an application for the 2024 Churchyard Awards Scheme having done well last year, with all your help.

The judges last year made the suggestions on the note below so we will look at ways of implementing them. Roger also has some ideas and I wanted to get the congregation and community involved in painting stones to go round the edge of the Garden of Hope heart.

The judges ask (in relation to the churchyard) about:

Any recent developments 

Any Specific plans

Community Involvement

Nature/Eco Initiatives 

Features of special interest

If you have any suggestions that might reasonably be done under these headings please let me know.

Perhaps someone could get involved in a “record of plant and animal species observed in the churchyard”-  any volunteers?
