A great time was had by all on Saturday at Messy Harvest and we learned about growing pigeon peas in Malawi despite the difficult climate conditions there.
We made prayer chains (and other crafts) – see photos and had a collection for Christian Aid, who help the small village farmers in Malawi. We collected £36.30 on Saturday and a further donation has been made so we will be handing over a very generous donation of £50.80 to Christian Aid.
Thanks to everyone who came, donated and who helped to make a very enjoyable Messy Harvest.
Looking ahead the next session will be the very popular Christingle on 24th December at 2pm at St James’ Church, Acton Trussell- date for your diary!
