Tree planted for the King’s Coronation at St James’ Church

To mark the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III,

we planted 3 trees, a Copper Beech, a Wild Pear and a Maple in the St James’ Churchyard.

The photo, showing the formal planting, includes the Church Warden (with spade), Rev Delphine and some of the congregation. Let’s hope the trees flourish for many years to come.

Thanks go to Hilton Green and Forest of Mercia for providing the trees and Len Bates for arranging this.
