Good afternoon.
The dog poo in Vicarage Lane is getting worse. The first two sections of grass in the centre of the lane are the hot spots. We now have five piles of poo, similar in size and colour which suggests it’s the same dog.
Dog poo carries all kinds of disease, besides being extremely unpleasant. The grassed centres of the lane are also proud of the concrete, causing the underside of some cars to catch on the grass, and of course, the piles of dog poo.
I can’t understand why this particular dog owner has a total disregard for villagers living in the lane. Despite it not being our responsibility, the grass in the lower part of the lane is mown by John in order for it to look tidy, not only ourselves, but other residents and visitors. However, the dog poo has to be removed beforehand.
I’ve tried appealing to the dog owner via the village email system, the Parish Council and reported it to South Staffs ‘dog fouling’ team as advised, but nothing is done.
This problem is not going away. I just hope the culprit is on your circulation list and suddenly develops a conscience.
